Looking in the Rainforest for Blue Quandong Fruits

This painting represents the Blue Quandong which can be seen while walking through the Kuku Yalanji rainforest country.

The bush is very thick with lots to look through for bush foods (Mayi).

When these seeds are green it is not time to eat them, you have to wait until they change to blue and then they will be fully ripe to eat.

Once they fall down on the ground they will begin to dry out and the seeds can be collected to make necklaces and other jewellery.
